SKIN ’93 is the story of who we have become - a return to our roots to look toward the future. It is a celebration of the garment that, more than any other, has defined our journey and the lives of the women who wear us: the suit.
Following the white abstraction of My Skin Closet, I felt the need for a choice just as radical, yet diametrically opposed: absolute, magnetic black. Five iconic total looks with sharp, streamlined silhouettes that define the Patrizia Pepe codes - an uncompromising elegance balanced between sartorial rigor and irreverent sensuality.
In this capsule, I wanted to reveal the invisible soul of our craft, showcasing the care and artistry usually hidden beneath the fabric. Every jacket, trouser, and skirt is the result of meticulous research born in the atelier. It is there, among pins and patterns, that I personally refine each prototype to ensure every cut enhances the body and moves with it. I want every woman who chooses these pieces to feel exactly as I imagine her: confident, feminine, and free to embrace her own contrasts.
Here, savoir-faire is more than a claim; it is deliberately exposed. This is why I chose to lay bare our expertise. The sheer tulle lining is a window into our tailoring - a glimpse of the painstaking, essential internal construction usually hidden from view. The visible label is no mere branding detail; it is a statement of intent, speaking to the authentic imperfection that makes us unique, special, and alive.
Binding it all together is the red thread - a graphic and physical signature that delicately weaves through the garments, tracing our history. It is a symbolic touch that follows the lines of the body, caressing the skin and intertwining our heritage with the bold, twilight spirit of the Patrizia Pepe woman.
